Reminder - Senator Tony Mendoza to Host Free Citizenship Fair

Sacramento – Senator Tony Mendoza (D-Artesia), Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District, Cerritos College and others to host a free citizenship fair on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Norwalk.

The fair will be at the Excelsior High School Gymnasium, 15711 Pioneer Blvd., Norwalk, CA 90650.

When:   Saturday, April 30, 2016, 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

“This free citizenship fair will provide area residents in need of assistance and help with completing their documentation for citizenship. I want to thank the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District, Cerritos College, National Association of Latino Elected Officials Education Fund, Mexican Opportunity Foundation (MAOF) and the Council of Mexican Federations (COFEM) for their help and support to make this event possible,” said Senator Tony Mendoza.

Residents attending the fair are encouraged to bring the following documents:

-Permanent Residence Card

-California State ID or Driver’s License

-Addresses during the last 5 years of residences, places of work and/or school

-Dates & location during last 5 years of travel outside the U.S.

-All police and court records

-If applying for a fee waiver, verification of benefits
