Senator Tony Mendoza to Host Free Senior Scam Stopper Prevention Seminar

Sacramento – Senator Tony Mendoza (D-Artesia) and the Contractors State License Board  will host a free seminar on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. to provide information to seniors on how to protect themselves from becoming victims of fraud.

The seminar will be held at the Buena Park Senior Activity Center, 8150 Knott Ave, Buena Park, CA 90620.

“I invite interested seniors, their family members, and caregivers to this important seminar to learn how to avoid becoming a victim. Topics will include how seniors can protect themselves from fraud relating to home repair, mail, foreign lotteries, identity theft, telecommunications, Medicare, and more,” said Senator Tony Mendoza.
